Faith in Action
by Thomas Cheevers on March 18th, 2025
Matthew 28:19 - "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."One of the most dangerous things in the church today is the idea that following Jesus is primarily about consumption. We read the books, listen to the podcasts, and sit in the pews, but we never actually get in the game. But listen—Jesus never called you t... Read More

The Relentless Pursuit of Love
by Thomas Cheevers on March 17th, 2025
Luke 19:10 - “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”Here’s what I love about Jesus: He goes after people no one else would bother with. He’s not put off by their mess. In Luke 19, we meet Zacchaeus—a wealthy tax collector who’d made his living by robbing his own people. Now, let’s be honest: this guy wasn’t just unpopular—he was despised. The Narrow Path
by Pastor Thomas Cheevers on March 12th, 2025
Jesus doesn’t sugarcoat it. Following Him is not the easy road. The way of Christ is narrow, and the road is hard, but it is the only one that leads to life. He is not interested in making disciples who are half-in, half-out. He is not calling us to a life of comfort and convenience; He is calling us to Himself. And let’s be honest, that is not a popular message. Read More

Living Water in a Thirsty World
by Pastor Thomas Cheevers on March 11th, 2025
Jesus meets a Samaritan woman at a well in the heat of the day. She is an outcast, worn down by life, coming to get what she thinks she needs, which is water. But Jesus offers her something far greater. He tells her, "If you knew who was asking you for a drink, you’d be asking Me for living water." She came for a temporary fix, but Jesus points to her deeper thirst, one she has been trying to satisfy in all the wrong places. Read More
