Victory, Not Victimhood
"For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man." – 1 Corinthians 15:21
From the outside, the crucifixion looked like a loss. A failed revolution. A silenced prophet. But the truth? It was the greatest victory the world has ever known. Jesus wasn’t overwhelmed—He was overcoming. The cross wasn't defeat; it was destiny. He didn’t just survive death; He shattered its power from the inside out. That same resurrection power now lives in you if you’re in Christ. You no longer fight for victory—you fight from it. Every lie of the enemy, every battle with sin, every discouragement you face can be approached with resurrection confidence. Christ has already won, and you are on the side of the undefeated King.
Reflection Question
Where in your life are you still living like you're defeated, even though Jesus has already won the battle?
Death didn’t take Jesus. Jesus walked into death and cracked it open from the inside.
Prayer
Jesus, thank You that Your cross wasn't the end, but the beginning of victory. Help me to live boldly in Your resurrection power. Remind me that in You, I am more than a conqueror. Amen.
