Living in Freedom

"For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery." – Galatians 5:1

Too many Christians live forgiven but not free. We walk around as if we still wear the chains Christ already broke. But Jesus didn’t just die to pardon you—He died to empower you. The freedom He offers isn’t passive; it’s purposeful. It invites you to run in the lanes of holiness, joy, obedience, and mission. Freedom in Christ is not a pass to do whatever you want—it’s a call to become who you were truly meant to be. You were not just saved from sin but for God’s glory. You are free now to love, to serve, to live without the crushing weight of shame or the need to prove yourself.

Reflection Question
What’s something that still tries to enslave you? How can you lean into the freedom Christ has already won?

Jesus didn’t just save you from something—He saved you for something.

Prayer
Father, thank You that I am not just forgiven but free. Help me to walk confidently in that freedom. Let me live every moment for Your purpose and glory. Amen.
