The Invitation Still Stands

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” – Matthew 11:28

The cross is not just a historical event—it’s a living invitation. Every nail, every cry, every drop of blood echoes through time, calling out: Come. Come all who are weary. Come all who are guilty. Come all who are searching. The veil is torn, the debt is paid, the stone is rolled away, and the invitation still stands. You don’t need to clean yourself up before approaching God. You just need to come. The gospel is not about good people getting better—it’s about dead people coming to life through Jesus. No matter your past or present, the door remains open. God isn’t looking for perfection—He’s offering restoration.

Reflection Question
What’s holding you back from fully accepting Christ’s invitation today? What do you need to surrender to walk through the open door?

The cross wasn’t the end of the story—it was the doorway to your new beginning.

Prayer
Jesus, thank You for extending the invitation of grace to me, even when I least deserved it. Give me the courage to come close, to lay everything down, and to receive all You’ve done for me. Amen.
