Grace Before Performance

"But when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus." - Luke 24:3

One of our greatest struggles is believing we must earn God's love and acceptance. We often approach God like we're applying for a job, trying to present our best qualifications. But Easter flips this mindset completely. The empty tomb declares that God's love and grace come before our performance, not after it. Jesus didn't wait for us to get our act together before dying for us. He didn't require a perfect track record before offering forgiveness. His grace precedes our efforts, making Easter not about what we must do, but about what He has already done.

Reflection
How might your relationship with God change if you truly believed His grace comes before your performance?

Easter is not an invitation for you to earn anything, but it's an invitation for you to receive everything.

Prayer
Jesus, help me to rest in Your grace rather than striving to earn what You've already freely given. Amen.
