Meeting Jesus in the Hurt

"While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them." - Luke 24:4

Often we think we need to overcome our struggles before we can approach God. We believe we must heal ourselves, fix our problems, or at least have a plan before we can seek His presence. But Easter reveals a different truth. Jesus specializes in meeting us right in the middle of our mess, our confusion, and our pain. He doesn't stand at a distance, waiting for us to figure things out. Instead, He steps into our hurting places, bringing healing and hope exactly where we need it most.

Reflection
Where do you need to invite Jesus into your hurt rather than trying to heal on your own first?

Jesus doesn't meet you on the other side of healing. He meets you in the middle of your hurt to heal you. That's the gospel. That's grace, and that's Easter.

Prayer
Dear God, thank You for meeting me in my pain. Help me to trust You with my hurts and allow Your healing presence to work in my life. Amen.
