From Doubt to Declaration

“Then He said to Thomas, ‘Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.’” — John 20:27

Sometimes we think doubt disqualifies us from faith, but God doesn’t run from our questions—He leans in. Thomas wasn’t present the first time Jesus appeared to the disciples, and his doubt was raw and honest. But Jesus didn’t shame him. He came back just for Thomas. He met him where he was and invited him to touch His scars. That’s the heart of Easter too. Jesus meets us in our uncertainties and walks us from doubt to declaration. Faith isn’t the absence of questions—it’s choosing to trust even when we don’t see the full picture yet.

Reflection
What doubts have you been holding onto that you need to bring honestly before Jesus?

Jesus didn’t cancel Thomas for doubting. He came close. And He’ll do the same for you.

Prayer
Jesus, thank You for loving me even when I struggle to believe. Help me to bring my doubts to You and grow in trust. Amen.
