Collapsing into Christ
"The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him." - Lamentations 3:25
We often try to handle our pain alone, believing we need to be strong enough to overcome it ourselves. But true healing doesn't come through our own strength - it comes through surrender. Like a weary child who finally stops struggling and collapses into their parent's arms, we find rest when we stop trying to handle everything on our own and fall into Christ's embrace. He's not waiting for us to get ourselves together; He's waiting for us to trust Him enough to let go. Sometimes the bravest thing we can do is admit we can't do it alone.
Reflection Question
What areas of your life are you still trying to handle on your own instead of surrendering to Christ?
You cannot climb out of this on your own. You can't climb out and try to find healing on your own. You have to collapse into Christ. You have to take your exhaustion and almost fall over into the arms of Christ so he can carry you through it.
Prayer
Jesus, I admit I can't do this alone. Help me release my grip on trying to control everything and trust in Your strength instead of my own. Thank You for being strong when I am weak. Amen.
