Sent with Purpose

"Then Jesus came to them and said, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations...'" – Matthew 28:18–19

The gospel isn’t just something we receive—it’s something we carry. The resurrection wasn’t the end of the story; it was the launching point. After rising from the dead, Jesus didn’t gather His disciples and say, “Alright, glad that’s over—go relax.” No, He said, “Go. Make disciples. Be My witnesses.”

If Jesus really rose from the dead—and He did—then nothing else in our lives should stay the same. The resurrection rewires your purpose. You’ve been rescued not just from something but for something. You’re not saved to sit; you’re saved to be sent.

This is where it gets real. God has placed you exactly where you are—your school, your job, your neighborhood—not by accident but by assignment. You are His ambassador. You carry His message of hope, grace, and truth to a world that’s still stumbling in the dark.

And you don’t go alone. He promised to be with you—to the end of the age. You are empowered by the Spirit, covered by grace, and commissioned by Christ Himself.
So the question isn’t, “Am I called?” You are. The question is, “Am I willing?”
You’ve received the greatest news in human history. Now go and live like it.

Reflection Question:
Where has God placed you to bring the hope of the resurrection to others?

Remember, the resurrection gives you power. The mission gives you purpose. You weren’t just saved from something—you were saved for something.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You that You’ve not only rescued me, but You’ve given me a reason to live. Help me see my life as a mission field. Open my eyes to the people around me. Give me boldness, compassion, and clarity as I carry Your name. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
