From Brokenness to Wholeness
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” – Psalm 147:3
The journey from sin to surrender is not about behavior modification. It’s about becoming whole.
We all carry brokenness. Some of it comes from what we've done. Some from what’s been done to us. But no matter the source, Jesus doesn’t ignore our wounds — He enters them. He doesn’t shame our struggles — He redeems them.
When we bring our brokenness to Jesus, He doesn’t hand us a rulebook — He offers a relationship. And through that relationship, transformation begins. Not overnight. Not always visibly. But deeply. Eternally.
Wholeness in Christ means that nothing is wasted. Not the sin. Not the sorrow. Not the slow, painful process of healing. He uses all of it. And He walks with us through all of it.
This is the invitation: not to be perfect, but to be present with the One who is. The Gospel doesn’t say, “Get it together.” It says, “Come to Me.” And when we do, we find the kind of healing the world can’t offer — and the kind of love that doesn’t change with our performance.
Reflection Question
What broken areas of your life are you still trying to fix on your own instead of bringing them fully to Jesus?
Jesus doesn’t run from your brokenness. He runs into it — and makes it whole.
Prayer
Jesus, I bring You every part of me — even the pieces I’ve tried to hide. Thank You that You don’t discard the broken, but redeem them. Make me whole through Your love and help me live in the freedom only You can give. Amen.
