Stepping into Belief
"Why do you look for the living among the dead?" - Luke 24:5
Faith isn't meant to be static - it's meant to move us forward. Yet sometimes we stand outside our own empty tombs, assuming nothing has changed. We look at our situations through the lens of what was, rather than what could be through God's power. The Easter story invites us to do more than just peek into the empty tomb - it calls us to step in, to fully embrace the reality of resurrection power in our lives. When we do, we discover that God has already been at work, preparing the way for new life in areas we thought were dead.
Reflection
What would it look like for you to step fully into belief that God can bring new life to your situation?
The empty grave is an invitation. Not for us to stand on the outside, assuming that the stone is still there, but for us to step in, to come and see.
Prayer
Lord, give me courage to step fully into faith, trusting that You have already prepared the way for new life in every area of my life. Amen.
