Living the Resurrection Daily
"Since you have been raised with Christ, seek the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God." — Colossians 3:1–3
It’s easy to celebrate resurrection on Easter Sunday when the songs are loud, the church is packed, and hope feels tangible. But what about the ordinary Mondays? What about the hard Thursdays? What about the silent Saturdays when God feels distant?
The resurrection was never meant to stay locked in a single moment or memory. It was meant to spill over into every part of our lives.
Resurrection life is Monday morning faith.
The empty tomb means your life is permanently marked by victory—not defeat.
Living the resurrection daily isn't about perfection. It's about persistence.
It's about getting back up when you fall because the grave couldn't hold your King—and it can't hold you either.
You aren’t trying to earn resurrection power—you’re called to live from resurrection power. It’s already yours in Christ.
The same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead isn't a visitor to your life. He’s your constant companion.
Today, and every day, the resurrection isn't just something you celebrate. It's something you embody.
Reflection Question:
What is one way you can live out the reality of the resurrection today—especially in the ordinary, unnoticed parts of your life?
Resurrection isn’t just a Sunday celebration. It’s a Monday decision, a Tuesday endurance, a Wednesday hope... a daily reality.
Prayer:
Jesus, You are not a once-a-year event. You are my everyday Savior. Help me to live today—and every day—like the tomb is still empty and Your Spirit is still at work in me. Remind me that resurrection power isn’t just for the mountaintops but for the valleys too. Let me seek the things above and set my mind on You in every moment. Thank You that because You live, I can truly live. Amen.
