God's Will Is a Relationship, Not a Puzzle
"Therefore, brothers and sisters, in view of the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your true worship. 2 Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God." - Romans 12:1-2
So many of us treat God’s will like a hidden treasure map—one wrong move and we’re off track forever. But Romans 12 reminds us that discerning God’s will starts not with answers, but with relationship and transformation.
When we offer ourselves as living sacrifices, we’re saying: “God, all of me is Yours.” That posture leads to a renewing of the mind, and from that comes clarity. God’s will isn’t always about where to go—it’s often about who we’re becoming. As we grow in Christ, His priorities become our priorities. His voice becomes clearer. His direction becomes more natural.
The pressure is off. You don’t have to decode your future—you just need to walk with the One who holds it.
Reflection Questions:
What if God’s will isn’t a mystery for you to solve, but a relationship for you to walk in?
Prayer:
Jesus, I surrender my plans, my timeline, and my expectations. Teach me to seek You—not just for direction, but for transformation. Renew my mind through Your Word. Help me discern Your will as I draw near to You each day. Amen.

Reflection Questions:
- Are you more focused on what God wants you to do than on who He’s calling you to become?
- How are you creating space in your life for God to renew your mind through Scripture and surrender?
- What’s one area you can offer back to God today as an act of worship?
